Terminal 1

Terminal 1 (T1), Port of NEOM’s new container terminal, launches from 2026 onwards with a build up to 1.5M TEU capacity and the Kingdom’s first fully automated Ship-to-Shore cranes.

 

 

 

 

Key Features

T1 will feature a 900-meter quay wall, constructed using low-carbon steel, and two vessel berths serviced by 10 Ship-To-Shore cranes and a fleet of 30 electric Rubber-Tyre Gantry Cranes. A basin depth of 18.5 meters and a 550 meter shipping channel accommodates the world’s largest container ships.

  • DELIVERY OPTIONS

    • Direct truck delivery to destination
    • Direct delivery to container yard
    • Direct transfer to advanced logistics hub

  • CONTROL ROOM

    The control room will manage all port activities with precision, including:
    • Vessel stevedoring operation
    • Yard and Gate operations
    • On-dock rail operation
    • Warehouse interface operations
    • Advanced logistics hub's operations and distribution
    • Network operations (incl. fulfillment centers and last mile)
